PS3 uses five times as much power when playing a Blu-ray as standard Sony Blu-ray players. The Wii, which uses 16 watts of power when in use, was described as a “juice sipper.” The Xbox 360 draws 119 watts while on. But king of the power mountain is the PlayStation 3, which uses 150 watts while playing a game, and 120 watts when playing a Blu-ray.
